Oh Mason

Last Sunday, June 9th, was a rough day.  Well better said that it was a rough afternoon.  Sometimes my plans and what the boys have in mind do not always coincide.  My friends had invited me to the beach and my dad invited me over to the pool and then for pizza.  I wanted to do both but that meant that the boys had to come home from church and do as I asked without lolly gagging..let me take a moment to laugh about that.  the boys not lolly gagging..

There were toys that need to be picked up and their bathing suits needed to be put on along with them getting a change of clothes put into a bag for after the pool.  I on the other had, had to pack lunches, snacks, stuff for the beach, stuff for the pool and my clothes for after the pool. Once again, haha.  I thought that this was only going to take 30 minutes tops but it somehow turned into an hour long ordeal where the boys got yelled at for dragging ass.

On the way down to the beach both boys feel asleep in the car, I knew they were tired but was hoping for an early night after I tired them out at the beach/pool.  When we got to the beach, Mason woke up and said,

" I had to take a nap.  I needed to get my mind right."

Oh the things that little boy says.  He makes me laugh.
