Bedtime

So we have come to this point with bed time that we need 1000 hugs to fall asleep. And then we need you to sit with us or lay down with us. Most times I dont lay with the boys but rather sit on the floor next to their beds that way my arms can reach both beds at the same time but sometimes, just sometimes I lay with Aidan (who is the most needy) and stretch my arm backwards to hold hands with Mason.

Night time rountine is that they go in there lay down with their bearbear and their ni-night(blanket). If we both are home we both give them hugs and kisses and attempt to leave the room. Brian usually gets out the door first then as i reach the doorway I hear, "hug". So I go give the culprit(Aidan) another hug to hear Mason say he wants one. This goes back and forth for a few times until I say no more. Then if I have to go back in there sometimes i will say lets do a sleep over on the floor that way I can be close to both of them. That is if they are both still awake. Because most times Mason fall asleep and Aidan is still up. This just causes the mornings to be fun -- Mason gets up first and wakes Aidan. Then Aidan screams because Mason most likely hit him to wake him up.

Also, sometimes we will have trouble getting them to bed and then finally succeed to only have to go through the whole process again because the neighbor has come home and with his loud car woken them up..GRRR!

This can all get exhausting.

One a cutier note; Holding hands is the other new big thing in our house. When they are upset, no matter where we are they want to hold hands. It is the cute until they both want to hold your hand while I am driving. Then one gets upset that the other has my hand.
