Last week Aidan locked Mason and I out of the house. Well, now when I get home from picking them up from daycare, Mason will happily recount the event for me. Like I have forgotten. This is how it goes.
"Mommy, Aidan, he locked the door."
"I know son."
"Daddy, he come in the fire truck."
"Um hum."
"And when daddy got here, he gave Aidan a pank(spank)." "Aidan, he in trouble."
Well at least I know they will tell me everything even if it happens a ways back. It is just funny to hear the story told to me like I dont already know what happened.
