Potty Training - Part III

We had a major break through today.
As most of you know Brian and I have been working on potty training the boys slowly. We dont want to force them if they arent ready. Therefore, once a week we take that day serious and hardcore potty train. I know most of you are thinking that just causes set backs, but really it makes them seem more interested somehow on the days we dont push it. They come up and tell us that they have to go. Or that they have gone and need a us to change them.
Well I was getting all my coupons organized for the grocery store on the kitchen counter when Mason came up to me and said, "Mommy, I need to go poop!"
"Lets go then. In the bathroom now." I was hoping to get him in there before he went. I had big doubts that he had to go. I just knew he had already went. But once in the bathroom and I got him undressed it revealed he hadnt gone yet.
SCORE!
I sat him on the elmo potty seat and told him to try and go.
SUCCESS!!! He went on the potty, number 2, for the first time today. I am so proud of my little ROCKSTAR.
I know, I know..I am not going to get my hopes up that it will be an all the time event but today is a start. It will happen all in good time.
